ආර්යයන්ගෙන් සිංහලයින් පැවතෙන බවත්, විජය රජ ඇතුලු ආර්යයන් සත් සියයක් සේනාව සමඟ තම්බපන්ණියට ගොඩ බැස ලංකා ශිෂ්ටාචාරය ආරම්භ කළ බවත්, අපට පාසැලේ දී උගැන්වූ විට එය ගිරවුන් මෙන් කට පාඩම් කල බව අපි දනිමු.
ඊට අමතරව විජය රජ, බැල්ලක විසින් මඟ පෙන්වන ලදුව, කපු කටිමින් සිටි කුවේනිය සරණ පාවා ගෙන ලංකාව පාලනය කල බවත්, විජයගේ සේනාව විසින් අනුරාධගාම, උපතිස්සගාම වැනි නගර පිහිටුවා ගත් බවත්, ගෝකණ්න, මහාතිත්ථ වැනි නැව් තොටුපොළවල් පිහිටවූ බවත් අපි උගත්තෙමු.

ඉහත කරුණු වල සත්‍ය අසත්‍යතාවය ප්‍රශ්න නොකරම මිනිසුන් වළැඳ ගන්නේ ඒවා සඳහන් වන පොත පත පිළිගන්නා ලෙසට අපගේ මානසීකත්වය කුඩා කල සිටම සැදී තිබෙන බැවින් විනා විචක්ශණව තර්ක කර නොවන බව කනගාටුවෙන් වුවද පිළිගත යුතු ය. සැබැවින්ම සිදු වූයේ කුමක් ද? ආර්යයෝ යනු කවරහු ද? විජය ඇත්තෙන්ම ලංකාවට පැමිණ තිබේද? පැමිණියා නම් එතැනින්ද සිවු හෙළ ශිෂ්ටාචාරය ආරම්භ වුනේ? විජය ආක්‍රමණයට පෙර සිවු හෙළයන්ට ප්‍රෞඩ ඉතිහාසයක් තිබුනේම නැද්ද? සිවු හෙළයන් යනු ආර්ය සම්භවයක් ඇති, එම නිසාම ඉන්දීය සම්භවයකින් හෙබි පිරිසක් ද? විජය එනවිට කුවේනිය කපු කටිමින් සිටියේ කුමකින් ද? කුමක්ද අපිට උරුම අපේම අනන්‍යතාවය? කුමක්ද අපට තිබුනු තාක්ශණය?

එකී මෙකී සහ ඇතැම් නොකී ඓතිහාසික කරණු වල සත්‍ය අසත්‍ය තාවය සොයනු වස් කරනා විද්‍යාත්මක, පුරා විද්‍යාත්මක සහා සමාජ විද්‍යාත්මක ගවේශණයක ආරම්භය මෙසේ සටහන් කරමි.

මෙම ලිපි පෙළ නිර්මාණය වනුයේ විවිධ ලේඛකයින් විසින් දශක ගණනාවක් මුළුල්ලේ කරන ලද විද්‍යාත්මක සහ සමාජ/ පුරා විද්‍යාත්මක පර්යේශණ සහ අපේ ප්‍රවාද තුලින් බව මතක් කර සිටිමි. මෙය ඕනෑම වැඩිහිටි කෙනෙකුට වුවද කියවා තේරුම් ගැනීමට පහසු සරළ බසකින් ලියුවද, අ.පො.ස සා/පෙළ සහ උ.පෙළ සිසුන් මෙහි ඇති කරුණු සහා ඉතිහාස පඬිවරුන් ලියූ පාසැල් පෙළ පොත් වල සඳහන් කරුණු පටලවා නො ගත යුතු ය. මන්ද යත්, මෙම ලිපි වල සඳහන් ඇතැම් කරුණු, පෙළ පොත් වල සඳහන් කරුණු වලට තරමක් දුරට පටහැනි බව මම දනිමි. විභාගය සමත් වීමට බේගල් දෙසා බෑව ද සැබෑ ඉතිහාසය දැන ගැනීම සිවු හෙළ අපගේ අනන්‍යතාවය රැක ගැනීමට ඉවහල් වන බවත්, එමඟින් ඇති වන ආත්මාභිමාණය සහ අපේ හැකියාවන් තේරුම් ගැනීම හේතු කොට ගෙන ඉදිරි අනාගතය සුභදායී, ස්වාධීන, දියුණු සහ යහපත් එකක් වනු ඇති බවත් මා හැඟි ඒකායන පැතුම යි.

මෙම ලිපි පෙලෙහි සඳහන් කරුණු හුදෙක් මෙහි සඳහන් වන නිසාම නොව, ඔබගේම මනසින් තර්කානුකූලව සිතා පිළිගැනීමට හැකි නම් පමනක් පිලිගන්නා ලෙස ඉල්ලමි.

අපගේ සැබෑ අනන්‍යතාවය සොයා යන ගමනේදී පිළිගත යුතු වැදගත් කරුණු 3ක් වෙයි.

1. බටහිර විද්‍යාවට ඔබ්බෙන් (beyond western science) දිවෙන අපට උරුම තර්කණ ශෛලියක් තිබෙයි.
බටහිර විද්‍යාවේදී බොහෝ විට භාවිතා කරන්නේ ඇරිස්ටෝටලීය සිද්ධාන්තයන්ය ය. එනම් පර්යේශණයක් තුලින් නිඟමණ වලට එළැඹීමට හැකි නම් පමණක් යමක් පිළිගැනීම හෝ යම් කිසි භෞතීක හෝ ස්පර්ශ කල හැකි (tangible) නියැඳියක් තුලින් පමණක් නිඟමණ වලට එළඹීම. මෙම, ඉතා තර්කානුකූළ ක්‍රමයේ වරදක් මම නොදකිමි. එනමුත් එහි අපටම ආවේණික වුනු ජන ප්‍රවාදයන්ට හිමි තැන අහිමි කර ඇත. එනම්, සිවුහෙළයන් ඔවුනට හිමි ජන ප්‍රවාද වල අඩංගු කරුනු, ඔවුනගේ බුද්ධියට ගෝචර වන්නේ නම්, පිළිගැනීමට පසුබට නොවිය යුතුය. උ.දා.: ගලේ බංඩාර දෙවියන්ට මාතලේ/ පොලොන්නරුවේ මිනිසුන් අදටත් වන්දනා මාන පුද කරනුයේ ජන ප්‍රවාද මඟින් ඒවා පැවත ආ නිසා විනා පොත පතක සඳහන් වූ නිසා වත්, විද්‍යාත්මක පර්යේශන මඟින් දේව අනුහස ඔප්පු කර ඇති නිසා වත් නොවෙයි. (මෙම ගලේ බංඩාර දෙවියන් යනු කවරෙක්ද යන වග ඉදිරි ලිපි වළින් විග්‍රහ කරමි). තව දුරටත්, බුදුන්ගේ දේශයේ ජීවත් වන්නේ නම් බුදු දහම පිළිගැනීමත් කළ යුතු ය. “යං භික්ඛවෙ, නත්ථි සම්මතං ලොකෙ පණ්ඩිතානං අහම්පිතං නත්ථිති වදාමි, යං භික්ඛවෙ, අත්ථි සම්මතං ලොකෙ පණ්ඩිතානං අහම්පිතං අත්ථිති වදාමි” – සංයුක්ත නිකාය, පුප්ඵ සූත්‍රය. එහි අර්ථය වනුයේ, “මහණෙනි, ලොව පණ්ඩිතයින් විසින් යමක් නැතැයි සම්මත නම් මම ද එය නැතැයි කියමි. මහණෙනි, ලොව පණ්ඩිතයින් විසින් යමක් ඇතැයි සම්මත නම් මම ද එය ඇතැයි කියමි”.

2. දහ හත සහ දහ අට වැනි සියවස් ලියැවුනු බටහිර ලේඛන සහ පොත පත දැඩි ලෙස ක්‍රිස්තියානිකරණය වීම.
අතීතයේ තිබුනු ප්‍රාථමීක විද්‍යාත්මක දියුණුව නිසා මිනිසා තමුනගේ මනසට ගෝචර නොවන සියල්ලම පාහේ දේව බලය නිසා සිදු වන බව සිතීය. (උ.දා.: අකුණු ගැසීම, වළාකුළු, ඉර, තරු). මෙම ‘දේව’ සහ ‘මැවුම්’ සංකල්පයන් පදනම් කරගෙන මධ්‍යකාලීන බහුතරයක් ලේඛකයන් යුදෙව් ක්‍රිස්තියානි මැවුම් සංකල්පය හමුවේ එල්බගත් ස්වරූපයක් ගත් බව මැක්ස් මුලර් වැනි ගත්කරුවරුන්ගේ ලේඛන වලින් පැහැදිලි වේ. එකල විද්වතුන්ගෙන් බොහෝ දෙනා ඉතිහාසඥයින් වත් පුරා විද්‍යාඥයින් වත් නොව මිශනාරී බලය හමුවේ බටහිර සංස්කෘතිය සහ සමාජ ක්‍රමය පතුරවාලීමට උත්සාහ දැරූ බටහිර හා යුදෙව් ක්‍රිස්තියානි ප්‍රවාහයේ ප්‍රධාන පුරුක් බව ෆ්රෝලි, රාජරාම් ඇතුලු විවිධ ලේඛකයින් විසින් වරින් වර පෙන්වා දී ඇත. මෙම හේතුව නිසාම, පහත තුන් වන කරුණ ගැනත් අප සැළකිලිමත් විය යුතු ය. (එකළ සිටි ස්වාධීන විද්වතුන්ට සාධාරණයක් ඉටු කරනු වස් ඕගස්ට් විල්හෙයිම්, හර්න් හම්බෝල්ට්, ආතර් ස්කෝපනෝර් වැනි අපක්ෂපාතී සාධාරණ විද්වතුන් සිටි බවත් අමතක නොකල යුතු ය).

3. ජීවය මෙලොව ඇති වුනේ ක්‍රි.පූ 4004 ට කලින් වීම.
ඉහත දැක්වූ දෙවන කරුණ මුල් කරගෙන, එකළ පොත පතේ සඳහන් වනුයේ මෙලොව ආරම්භ වුනේ ක්‍රි.පූ 4004 වන බවයි. මේ බව 1654 දී අයර්ලන්තයේ බිශොප් වරයෙකු දැඩි ස්ථාවරයක සිට පවසා ඇත. (ඔහු සඳහන් කර ඇති පරිදි, දෙවියන් වහන්සේ ලෝකය මවා ඇත්තේ, ක්‍රි.පූ 4004, ඔක්තෝබර් 23 වැනි දින පූර්ව භාග 9 ට ය.) ක්‍රි.ව. 1654 දී එතුමා කල මෙම නිවේදනයෙන් පසුව 17 වැනි සියවසෙන් පසුව ඉතා මෑත කාලයක් දක්වාම ලියැවුනු පොත පත ලෝකයේ ආරම්භය ක්‍රි.පූ 4004හි පිහිටුවයි. එනමුදු දැන් විද්‍යාත්මකව සොයා ගෙන ඇති කරණු අනුව අපට ගම්‍ය වන්නේ මෙලොව ආරම්භය ඊට ඉතාමත් කලින් සිදු වූ බවයි. එබැවින්, 17 හා 18 සියවස් වල ලියැවුනු ග්‍රන්ථ භාවිතයේ දී ඉතාමත් සැළකිලිමත් විය යුතු ය. එසේම, ලෝකය සහ මානව ශිෂ්ටාචාරයන් බිහි වුනේ ඊට කලින් (ක්‍රි.පූ 4004 ට පෙර) බවත් සාධක සහිත නම් පිළිගැනීමට මැලි නොවිය යුතු ය.

ඉහත කරුණු තුනටම පොදු කරුණ වන්නේ අප, අපගේ මතයන් දැඩි ලෙස බටහිර ආභාශිත කර ගැනීම යි. බටහිර විද්‍යාඥයින් පවා ඔවුන්ගේ මතයන් දහ නව වන සියවස තුළ දී නිවැරදි කර ගත්තද අපි තවමත් ඔවුන් විසින් ‘දායාද කළ’ වැරදි මතයන් තුළම එල්බ සිටින්නේ ඇයි?
ක්‍රිස්තියානි සභාව පවා අද පරිණාමය පිළිගනිත්දී, අපි තවමත් යුදෙව් අන්ධ කිතුනු භක්තික ආචාර්ය මහාචාර්යවරු එදා ලියූ දේවල් තුළම එල්බ සිටින්නේ ඇයි? එවැනි ලේඛන වල ආභාශය ලබා සහ ඒවා මූලාශ්‍ර කොට ගෙන ලියැවුනු මහාවංශයේ ‘ඇතැම් පරිඡ්චේද’ තුළම එල්බ සිටින්නේ ඇයි?

අතිගරු මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ ගෙන් පටන් ගෙන ලංකා බෙල්, ලාෆ්ස් ගෑස්, කාර්ගිල්ස් සහ දැන් DeLon පවා විකුනන්නෙ ජාත්‍යාලයයි.

M.I.A ගේ Paper Planes Diss youtube video පටය දුටු දවසේ දැඩි ලෙස මම DeLon ගේ එම ක්‍රියාව අගය කලෙමි. නමුත් ටික දවසක් යන විට යථාර්තය අවබෝධ විය. එම යථාර්තය වන්නේ, DeLon යනු සාමාන්‍ය මිනිසෙකු බවත්, ඔහුත් උත්සාහ කරන්නේ ඔහුට යම් කිසි ස්ථානයක් අන්තර්ජාලය තුල ලබාගැනීමට බවත්ය.

අපි දන්නා පරිදි youtube අඩවිය විසින් DeLon විසින් එලිදක්වන ලද MIA Diss video දැඩි ලෙස ඉවත් කරන ලදී. බහුතරයක් දෙනා සිතුවේ youtube අඩවිය LTTEයට සහයෝගය දීමක් ලෙස මෙය සිදු කල බවයි. එහෙත් සත්‍යය වන්නේ යූටියුබය එලෙස කලේ MIAගේ ඔරිජිනල් video පටයේ තිබුනු කොටස් සහ සංගීතය DeLon ඒ අයුරින්ම ඔහුගේ diss video පටයේ උපයෝගී කරගෙන තිබුනු නිසයි. එය බුද්ධිමය දේපල පනත යටතේ සිදු කල නොහැක්කකි. මට හැගෙන පරිදි MIA ගේ නොදැනුවත් කම නිසා හෝ DeLon ගේ වාසනාව නිසා හෝ, අන්තර්ජාලයට එම Diss video පටය නිකුත් කල වුන් රාශියක් සිටි නිසා හෝ නීතිමය පියවරක් ගැනීමට MIA උත්සුක නොවීය. කෙසේ හෝ වේවා DeLon විසින් අන්තර්ජාලීය දේශප්‍රේමීන් ලවා කොස් ඇට බා ගත් බව නම් පැහැදිලිය.

අද උදේ මම දුටු Video පටයකින් මාගේ අදහස තව දුරටත් ස්ථිර විය. පහත දක්වෙන්නේ එම දර්ශනයයි.

මෙම video පටයට අනුව DeLon විසින් ලගදීම නව ඇල්බමයක් නිකුත් කිරීමට සැරසෙයි. දැන් ඔහුට ලාංකීය සමාජය තුල ඇත්තේ එයටම සරිලන පිලිගැනීමකි. ලාංකීය, අඩ නින්දේ පසුවන, ලේසියෙන් රැවටිය හැකි, දේෂප්‍රේමීත්වයෙන් ඇස් අන්ධ බහුතරයක් දෙනා හට DeLon යනු සැබෑ මිනිසෙකි – සැබෑ දේෂප්‍රේමියෙකි.  ඔවුන් නොදන්නා කරුණ වන්නේ DeLon විසින් ඔවුන්ව රවටා ඇති බවත්, ඔහුගේ CD පටයට මිලක් නිමකර ඇත්තේ හෙළයන්ගේ ජාත්‍යාලය විකිනීමෙන් බවත්ය.

එනමුත් සෑම විටම උපේක්ෂාවෙන් බලා සිටින ලාංකිකයන් මෙම ක්‍රියාවත් උපේක්ශාවෙන්ම බලා සිටින බව සක්සුදක් සේ මම දනිමි.. මන්දයත්, DeLon විසින් එයටම සරි වටපිටාවක් නිර්මානය කර ඇති බැවිනි. එනම්, බළලා මල්ලෙන් එලියට පැන්නත් ඇස් අන්ධ බැවින් එය නොපෙනෙන බැවිනි.

වෙබ් 2.0 සංකල්ප වන ෆෝරම්, බ්ලොග්ස් හිදී සිදුවන (හරේශ්ගේ) ‘ප්‍රකාශන හරහා පොර වීම’ සමගම දක්නට ලබෙන අනෙක් කාලකන්නි ක්‍රියාව වන්නෙ, නිර්මාන කොල්ලයයි. මෙහිදී වරදකාර පාර්ශ්යවය ලෙස ඇඟිල්ල දික් කල යුත්තේ කාටදැයි යන්න තවමත් ගැටලුවකි.

බ්ලොග් අඩවියකදි නම් එලිපිටම වරදකරුවා වන්නේ එහි අයිතිකරුවායි.

එනමුදු, social network (ෆෝරම්) හෙවත් සමාජ සාමාජිකත්ව ජාලයකදී නිර්මාන කොල්ලය (plagiarism) ක වරද පැටවිය යුතු වන්නේ එහි අයිතිකරුටද නැතහොත් එහි සාමාජිකයින් හටද? මන්දයත්, එහිදී අන්තර්ගතය (content) පබ්ලිශ් කරන්නේ සාමාජිකයින් විසිනි. ඔව්… ඒත් අයිතිකරුවා හට එය පාලනය කිරීමේ යුතුකම සහ වගකීම සතුවෙයි.

As a young medical student, Guevara traveled throughout Latin America and was transformed by the endemic poverty he witnessed. His experiences and observations during these trips led him to conclude that the region’s ingrained economic inequalities were an intrinsic result of monopoly capitalism, neo-colonialism, and imperialism, with the only remedy being world revolution. This belief prompted his involvement in Guatemala’s social reforms under President Jacobo Arbenz, whose eventual CIA-assisted overthrow solidified Guevara’s radical ideology.

Later, in Mexico, he met Fidel Castro and joined his 26th of July Movement. In December 1956, he was among the revolutionaries who invaded Cuba under Castro’s leadership with the intention of overthrowing U.S.-backed Cuban dictator Fulgencio Batista. Guevara soon rose to prominence among the insurgents, was promoted to Comandante, and played a pivotal role in the successful guerrilla campaign that deposed Batista. Following the Cuban revolution, Guevara reviewed the appeals of those convicted as war criminals during the revolutionary tribunals. Later he served as minister of industry and president of the national bank, before traversing the globe as a diplomat to meet an array of world leaders on behalf of Cuban socialism. He was also a prolific writer and diarist, composing a seminal manual on the theory and practice of guerrilla warfare, along with an acclaimed memoir about his motorcycle journey across South America. Guevara left Cuba in 1965 to incite revolutions first in an unsuccessful attempt in Congo-Kinshasa and then in Bolivia, where he was captured with the help of the CIA and executed.

Alberto Korda’s famous photograph of Marxist revolutionary Che Guevara entitled: Guerrillero Heroico (translates to: “Heroic Guerrilla“), was taken on March 5, 1960, in Havana, Cuba, at a memorial service for victims of the La Coubre explosion. The photo was not published internationally until seven years later.

His parents were Charles Chaplin Senior and Hannah Hill. They were music hall entertainers but separated shortly after Charlie was born, leaving Hannah to provide for her children.

In 1896 when Hannah was no longer able to care for her children, Charlie and his brother Sydney were admitted to Lambeth Workhouse and later, Hanwell School for Orphans and Destitute Children.

Chaplin became one of the most famous actors as well as a notable film-maker, composer and musician in the early to mid Hollywood cinema era. He is considered one of the finest mimes and clowns ever captured on film. He greatly influenced other performers.

Chaplin acted in, directed, scripted, produced, and eventually scored his own films as one of the most creative and influential personalities of the silent-film era. His working life in entertainment spanned over 65 years, from the Victorian stage and the Music Hall in the United Kingdom as a child performer almost until his death at the age of 88. His high-profile public and private life encompassed both adulation and controversy. With Mary Pickford, Douglas Fairbanks, and D. W. Griffith Chaplin co-founded United Artists in 1919.

Chaplin’s principal character was “The Tramp” (known as “Charlot” in France, and the French-speaking world, Italy, Spain, Andorra, Portugal, Greece, Romania, and Turkey, “Carlitos” in Brazil and Argentina, and “Vagabund” in Germany). “The Tramp” is a vagrant with the refined manners and dignity of a gentleman. The character wears a tight coat, oversized trousers and shoes, and a derby; carries a bamboo cane; and has a signature toothbrush moustache.

Chaplin was named in the New Year’s Honours List in 1975. On March 4, was knighted at age eighty-five as a Knight Commander of the British Empire (KBE) by Queen Elizabeth II. The honour was first proposed in 1931, and again in 1956, when it was vetoed by the then Conservative government for fears of damage to relations with the United States at the height of the Cold War and planned invasion of Suez of that year.

By 1977 Charlie Chaplin could no longer communicate and was confined to a wheelchair. He died in his sleep on Christmas Day, 1977, in Vevey, Switzerland, at the age of 88.

Even though this song tells about the British/ Holand/ Dutch invasions and consequences, now again it’s the time where this song is applicable to Sri Lanka.

Last week one of my friends met with an accident. Actually he just came to visit me, and some stupid bastard had crashed on to the parked car and fled. Didn’t even see the colour of that particular car.

Anyway… now this friend of mine is relatively new to the country. So there are huge financial difficulties for him since he is here with his wife and 1 year old kid. His car needed to be repaired and was estimated for $4,000. Surely he cannot afford this much of money!

He even haven’t got any food left at home because they were hoping to go on shopping after seeing me.

OK. Now.. no money to repair his car. No food at home. No any other way to go shopping. No way to go for work – hence no money to survive the week even. (Well.. This is the normal situation when you’re new to this country. You don’t have much savings in the account. You just live week by week.)

Then suddenly came another Sri Lanka – who is again new to the country (just 2 weeks). Offered a big amount of cash from what he had brought from Sri Lanka. Another Sri Lankan family has gone shopping for my friend and bought a whole lot of stuff for his family. Another Sri Lankan mechanic and came finally ad repaired the vehicle for just $500! (Whereas the initial estimate was $4000.)

I was wondering what happened…. I just couldn’t believe my self.. Sri Lankans willing to help an unknown guy. (Financially, human strength, goods, expertise etc.)

So I thought for myself…. If all the Sri Lankans in Sri Lanka behave like this, we will definitely see a great SRI LANKA. But what’s the matter? I mean why don’t these people behave like this in Sri Lanka when they behave like this in Australia?

Finally I thought… That song is applicable here as well…

“Sri Lankans do have humanity in a greater depth. But they cannot show it due to surrounding factors. Hence the people who has real Humanity in them, tend to leave Sri Lanka”

Welcome to the WEB 2.0 World, where WE ARE THE WORLD!

BUT when you say web 2.0, it doesn’t mean that it’s another version of World Wide Web. This is a common misconception people are having nowadays.

Web 2.0 is a term used by Tim O’Reilly, to explain a new era of the world wide web after the dot com crash (dot com bubble burst). But it cannot be consider as a newer “Version” as in Software Engineering. Though it seems like a new version, web 2.0 is just the set of new technologies used in the existing web in order to collaborate.

Some people use the term web 2.0 as a Marketing term in order to market their products and services.

According to O’Reilly Net, Web 2.0 is a “set of principles and practices that tie together a veritable solar system of sites that demonstrate some or all of those principles, at a varying distance from that core”

For me, Web 2.0 is a platform of new technologies used in cyber space in order to achieve a more collaborative nature between the users, where users are the creators/ authors of the content published in the World Wide Web.

So as you can see from the above image, AdSense, WordPress/ Google Blogs, Social networks such as FaceBook/ ElaKiri.com, Wikis are good examples of web 2.0 technologies.

ආහ් එළකිරි….. බඩු වැඩ ගින්දර වගේ

Main reason (well… I thought) was the limited time I’m having for my leasure purposes.

As a post graduate candidate in a foreign university (UniSA – Adelaide, Australia), I thought it would be hard to find some time for things like this. But someone inspired me to create this blog finally – for myself!

Then only I realised the power of our selves. We may roam around internet doing fancy things, which wastes our time – So I thought of gaining control of my time once again! yes!

So according to the inventer of the term WEB 2.0 (O’Reilly) WE ARE THE WEB!

So let’s control it. Because, as humans we have, and we should have the power to dominate everything else!Including TIME.

Some topics of this blog might be bit controvertial. But as the topic suggests, this is a QUANTUM FOR EVERYBODY! So all positive and negetive comments are welcome
